Motorola XTR446 repair (Pair)

Although these have been out of production for years there are still many around. They are great radios and were very popular in their time. I still get the odd pair in for repair as some users just love these radios for occasional use. A common fault is that the display indicates the small walkie-talkie continuously and does not receive. Frequency drift is another problem due to the age of the units along with some other faults. I still repair these if you are in love with yours. The price is for a pair of radios, as they will generally both be off frequency. If you send in only one it will be aligned and serviced and when you get it back it will spot on, while the other will most likely be well off frequency, so they will not work well together.
