This policy outlines the process for returning goods and obtaining a refund from Mike Ashby Comms (referred to as "I", "me" or "the Company").

  1. Returns Eligibility Period

You have 14 calendar days from the date you received the item(s) to initiate a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • It must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must be in the original packaging (where applicable).
  • It must include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-returnable items:

  • Electronic components
  • Items sold as spares or repair
  • Used components or housing
  • Items listed as clearance goods
  1. How to Initiate a Return
  1. Contact me: You must first notify me by email at sales@mikeashbycomms.co.uk or by phone at 44 0333 9009008 to request a return.
  2. Provide Details: Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Wait for Confirmation: I will respond with instructions on how and where to send your return. Do not send items back without receiving confirmation from me first.
  1. Shipping the Return
  • Return Shipping Cost: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., you received a damaged or incorrect item).
  • Method: I recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance, as I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.

  1. Inspections and Refunds

Once I receive your item, I will inspect it and notify you that I have received your returned item. I will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

  • Approval: If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card or original payment method).
  • Timing: You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer's policies and payment processor. This typically takes ten business days.
  1. Damaged or Incorrect Items (Our Error)

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  1. Contact me immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at sales@mikeashbycomms.co.uk].
  2. Provide your order number and clear photographs of the damage or the incorrect item you received.
  3. I will cover the return shipping costs or arrange a pre-paid label for items that are confirmed to be damaged or incorrect due to my error. I will then offer you a full refund or send a replacement, subject to availability.
  1. Exchanges

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged (see Section 6).
