Mike Ashby Comms repairs most makes of walkie-talkie two-way radios. This includes repairs to PMR licence free radios, digital and licensed analogue handsets. We serve individuals, educational institutions, leisure centres, security companies, farmers, night clubs, pubs and many others. On offer is a flat rate walkie-talkie repair service covering the UK via post or courier.
Sending equipment in for repair or servicing is easy. Just download the repair form, fill in the required details, and include the form with your parcel. It is suggested that you use a courier service to send the item(s) to Mike Ashby Comms. You can also use Royal Mail, but please use a service that includes tracking and a signature on delivery.
The radio body is all we need from you, please retain batteries, belt clips, chargers and where detatchable the antennas. The fixed price only covers electronic repairs and on board parts. Housings, antennas, control knob's, batteries and belt clips will incur extra charges if required. These items will not be automatically replaced, please request if you require these items to be supplied/fitted. A no fix, no fee policy is followed and you will not be charged if a repair is not possible. You will, however, need to pay for shipping if you require the equipment returned. Further we do not charge to inspect faulty handsets.
Please be aware that some radios may not be repairable, due to non availability of parts, physical printed circuit board damage, liquid ingress or software issues.
If you are not using the repair form, please ensure that you include your name, email address and contact telephone number with your parcel. Make sure the first line of the address is Mike Ashby Comms so reception knows which company the parcel is for, there are other companies at this address.
