Brief description of part-time work.

I am a sole trader looking for an extra pair of hands. Hours will vary depending on workload, but will be around five hours a day, up to three days a week.

You will be working in a relaxed atmosphere with myself, Monday to Friday, in a office/workshop which is in shared building.  This would suit you if you are looking for a bit of pocket money during the school holidays, or someone wanting to get out of the house a couple of times a week.

A knowledge of MS spread sheets would be advantageous along with basic computer skills.

A knowledge of listing items on eBay would be a plus, but not essential.

Unpacking parcels of radios sent in for repair and booking them in on the job card system.

Cleaning of repaired walkie-talkies and packing for despatch.

Organising stock when this is received and putting it away. 

Some mechanical work such as assembly and dis-assembly of walkie-talkies (Easy and training will be given)

Invoicing of repairs (QuickBooks) and booking of parcels with courier for collection.

As can be seen this is a varied role, which requires flexibility and attention to detail.

Hourly rate is as per national minimum wage for your age group.

This position is open to all over sixteen-year-olds with no upper age limit, and is suitable for either sex.

This opportunity will be on a zero hours contract.
