Walkie talkie repair service for two way radio dealers

1 Jun 2019 14:00:00 Mike

Mike Ashby Comms provides a repair service to radio dealers. Perhaps you are over busy or your engineer has gone on holiday. I fill the gap so that you can continue to offer repairs to your customers.

I have over 35 years fo experience with in the radio communications industry, repairs are carried out to the highest standard using original parts. My rates are very reasonable and all repairs are carried out in a fully equipped workshop.

Repairs are conducted on a fixed price repair basis and a no fix, no fee policy is followed. Return shipping for non repaired and repaired handhelds is £8.00 per consignment up to 20 kilograms. All equipment for repair should be sent via a courier service or Royal Mail recorded to my workshop in Basingstoke. The "Repair form" and "Price list" can both be downloaded by clicking here.

Faulty portables are booked in on the job card system and this is updated with what was done to the walkie talkie when it is repaired. By entering the serial number of a radio I can view it's history for the last four years on the system. A three month warranty is applied to repairs which covers labour and parts of the fault that was found at the time of repair. Please be aware I do not supply details of the fault and action taken to fix it, for obvious reasons.

I can be contacted on 0333 9009008 between the hours of 7.00AM and 3:00PM. If I cannot take your call please leave a message, I always call back.

Repairs are also carried out on licence free PMR radios and I do offer a refurbishment service by replacing the housing. Servicing of working units is also undertaken   at £10.00 per radio. This includes internal inspection for ingress and common dry joint points. Aligment is then performed and the radio cleaned.
